Virat Kohli’s blinding performance against England in 4th Test


Among all the #demonetization news that can only raise anxiety levels, Virat Kohli gives us a reason to cheer with his staggering performance in the 4th test against England. The Delhi cricketer becomes the third Indian skipper to have completed 1000 runs in test cricket in a calendar year, and the 14th Indian batsman to gather 4000 runs or above in Test cricket. 

Say Hello to Moto M with full metal body


It’s time we say Hello to “Moto by Lenovo”, as the Chinese technology brand finally launched their all-metal body phone, Moto M on Wednesday midnight. With a full metal unibody pattern, 5.5 inch Full HD Display, 2.5D Curved Glass, fingerprint sensor at the back panel, two variants (32GB and 64GB) and with a price tag that starts at Rs 15,999,  the phone is set to be a hot buy in the under-20K range.

I-T department seizes record Rs 2,900 crore in 586 searches


Our notion of a nation full of middle-class and the struggling somewhat gets a daily jolt these days with the frequent cash seizures by the I-T department. The I-T department seems to have worked hard this time with 586 searches and successfully seized 2900 crore in cash among “Notebandi”. Well, the way we are climbing the global corruption index each year, this was less of a surprise.

India roars back at Russia and Iran for Taliban involvement


India’s bilateral relationships with Russia of late have been just like sticky patches in a marriage. In a recent move that forced the world to take a note, India roared back at Iran and its time-tested partner Russia, and cautioned them against their political involvement with Taliban. “In so far as the Taliban is concerned, they have to respect the internationally agreed red lines, give up terrorism and violence, sever all ties with al-Qaida, agree to follow democratic norms and not do anything which will erode the gains of the last 15 years,” said MEA spokesperson, Vikas Swaroop.
