10 NYE Parties At The Coolest New Venues Of 2017

Nope, you’re not late to the party. Ask around and you’ll find that most people still don’t have a plan for New Year’s Eve. If staying in, calling for pizza and watching the hundredth rerun of DDLJ is your thing, sure! But if you want to ring in the New Year with dance, music and free flowing booze, head to one of these gigs on Sunday.

1. Kube, Andheri

A spacious new Andheri lounge spanning 8,000 square feet, Kube is all set to host a dance party with commercial and Bollywood music. With unlimited food, premium alcohol and fireworks on display, this one seems like a promising affair.

2. Tipsy Gypsy, Andheri

The newest entrant on Andheri’s nightlife scene, Tipsy Gypsy at Fun Republic Mall has quite a generous offer for NYE: bottomless sangria pitchers, Black Label, tequila shots, and lots more. The music will be a mix of EDM and Bollywood.

3. Glocal Junction, Worli & Andheri

Glocal Junction Andheri has been a trendy party hub since last year, and the new Worli outpost is also picking up.

The Worli gig is for Bollywood music lovers; it will have a vast buffet spread and unlimited liquor, as well as cocktails like whisky sour and cosmo. The Andheri one will serve IMFL with an option of imported liquor too.

4. Dive, BKC

Want to party, but don’t want to drink till you drop? Then this could be a good deal for you. On New Year’s Eve, BKC Dive will be open to all — you can enter free of cost and simply pay for whatever you order off the menu. Get high on thumping EDM, Punjabi, Bollywood and hip-hop music as you waltz into the New Year.

5. Drinkery 51, BKC

The erstwhile 10 Downing Street returned as Drinkery 51 three months ago. The small yet chic resto-bar will host a masquerade party for NYE, with foot-tapping music by DJ Mady, and food and drinks curated by celebrity chef Ajay Chopra.

6. JLWA, Bandra

Put on a glitzy feather mask for the masquerade ball at JLWA, a new resto-bar that launched only last month. Now, this place is more popular as a restaurant for modern Indian grub, but on New Year’s Eve, it will host a buzzing DJ party with appetisers and drinks on offer.

7. A Bar Called Life, Juhu

A Bar Called Life launched in March this year where Villa 69 once stood. With indoor and outdoor sections, it will host a big New Year bash with DJ Amit on the decks. Pick from endless beer, wine, spirits, or bubbly.

8. Bombay Adda, Bandra

Bollywood, house and hip-hop will keep you grooving at this new Bandra venue. The package will give you access to the swanky club, as well as wine, spirits, cocktails and appetisers.

9. True Tramm Trunk, BKC

The second outlet of the popular pub is all set for an out-and-out Bollywood soiree with DJs A Rag and Viraj. Drinks like Dewars White Label, Red Label, Absolut, and Sula are on the menu. Leave room for the vast buffet spread too.

10. Talaiva, Lower Parel

Talaiva, which launched in October, isn’t the biggest venue for NYE but the party’s still on! Though they’re serving only a couple of starters, you could fill up on premium drinks like Chivas, Black Label and Absolut. The unlimited sheesha is a plus.
